Between 28 and 29 October 2025, IACA organized a two-day tailor-made training programme on investigative techniques for the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Nazaha).

The training brought together 60 participants for an intensive programme led by Ms. Rebecca Li, a renowned expert in  anti-corruption investigations and corporate governance. Ms. Li has extensive experience leading and overseeing major  corruption and related crime investigations in both the public and private sectors.

On the first day, the training focused on complaint assesment, developing investigation plans, effective interviewing techniques, and   evidence collection and analysis. Participants were introduced to systematic approaches for managing complex investigative processes while ensuring  accuracy and integrity.

On the second day, the training took a more applied approach. Participants were guided through the preparation of comprehensive investigation reports, the key steps in trial preparation, and the procedures for conducting post-investigation reviews for corruption prevention.

This training initiative further strengthened the cooperation between Nazaha and IACA, contributing to the continuous development of Nazaha’s institutional expertise and human capacity. It also underscored IACA’s mission to provide practical, context-specific learning experiences that address emerging trends and challenges faced by anti-corruption professionals worldwide.
