The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) successfully delivered a tailor-made training programme on Good Governance and Anti-Corruption for auditors from the Board of the General Control of Finance of the Republic of Tunisia (CGF). This wa the second time this year that IACA welcomed a CGF delegation, following an earlier tailor-made training held from 5 to 9 May 2025 at IACA’s campus in Laxenburg, Austria.

This four-day programme brought together Tunisian auditors for an intensive and interactive learning experience designed to deepen their knowledge and enhance their practical skills in the fields of auditing, ethics, and anti-corruption.

Throughout the week, participants took part in a series of engaging sessions covering key topics such as risk-based auditing, ethical decision-making, open-source investigation techniques in audit, fraud risk management, AI-assisted auditing, and the role of auditing in the fight against corruption.

The training was led by a distinguished group of international experts, including Vytenis Benetis, Mariame Krauer-Diab, Martin Kreutner, Jérôme Mourroux, and Katalin Pallai, whose diverse expertise and professional backgrounds enriched the discussions and fostered knowledge exchange.

Delivered through a blend of lectures, case studies, and practical exercises, the programme provided participants with valuable insights into strengthening institutional integrity and combating corruption risks in financial oversight.

This tailor-made programme forms part of IACA’s ongoing commitment to supporting national institutions in strengthening their anti-corruption frameworks through customized learning solutions that combine academic expertise, practical experience, and international cooperation. The continued engagement between IACA and CGF reflects a growing institutional cooperation and supports CGF auditors in strengthening their technical skills and improving accountability and transparency mechanisms within Tunisia’s public financial management framework.
