The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the Regional Summer Academy – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) 2025, held from 9 to 12 November 2025 in Doha, State of Qatar.

Organized by IACA and co-hosted with the generous support of the State of Qatar, in particular its Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA), this four-day programme brought together 56 participants representing the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Kuwait, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Regional Summer Academy is part of IACA’s global series of regional training programmes, designed to address context-specific anti-corruption and compliance challenges while strengthening networks across the regions.  Over the course of four days, participants engaged in interactive sessions covering thematic areas such as global and regional anti-corruption frameworks and trends, asset recovery and management, the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in preventing and detecting corruption, integrity in public procurement, and good governance and transparency in sport.

The event also provided a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices among practitioners from across the GCC region, fostering stronger collaboration and shared approaches to promoting integrity and good governance.
