On Thursday, 13 November 2025, IACA invited students from the 2025 cohorts of the Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS) and the International Master in Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action (IMACC) to a special event titled Meet our Alumni!
The session was addressed by two special guests: Ornella Belfiori (Italy), a MACS alumna (2021-2023) and Mostafa Shawky (Egypt), a MACS alumnus (2022-2024). They shared their experiences, tips, and advice for the new classes who are nearing the end of the live session phase of their first module in both master’s programmes.
The Academic Programmes department hosted the session, and the Alumni participants provided valuable insight into how they balanced their professional, academic, and personal lives throughout their studies, how studying at IACA impacted their knowledge and careers, and how the Alumni network is an asset they gained from studying at IACA. The session was both informative and inspirational for the new students, providing them with first-hand accounts of what their studies may bring them over the next two years.
The MACS & IMACC students completed their first live session phase of Module 1 on Friday, 14 November, and will spend the next four weeks preparing their assignments before continuing with their second module.
