On 9 December, the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), in close partnership with the Organization for Security Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), delivered a lecture on corruption and the role of youth in combating it. The session brought together 12 young participants from Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. 

The programme aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of corruption and broaden their knowledge of its diverse manifestations across various contexts. Through an engaging lecture, Martin Kreutner, Dean Emeritus of IACA, facilitated an open environment for discussion, exchange of experiences, and critical reflection. His interactive sessions covered a wide range of topics, including historical developments, public trust in authorities, the interplay between legality and legitimacy, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and its connection to ethical universalism versus particularism, as well as social engineering. 

IACA extends its sincere appreciation to the OSCE for its close cooperation and continued commitment. The Academy remains dedicated to supporting global anti-corruption efforts and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
