On 3 February 2026, H.E. Mr. Kennedy Obed Reyes Lazo, Permanent Representative of El Salvador to the International Organizations in Vienna, presented his credentials to Mr. Drago Kos, Interim Dean of IACA.

During the meeting, the Ambassador highlighted the ongoing efforts of El Salvador in the field of anti-corruption, namely the recently created institutions such as the National Integrated Anti-Corruption System (SINAC) and National Anticorruption Center (CNA).

Both parties expressed strong interest in furthering cooperation between the Academy and the Republic of El Salvador, including through joint capacity-building efforts.

El Salvador has been a Party to the Agreement for the Establishment of IACA as an International Organization since 15 May 2016.
