On 17 March 2026, the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) delivered a tailor-made training for compliance officers of Erste Group at the Erste Bank Campus in Vienna, Austria. This training, combining conceptual discussions with practical reflections, built on the successful collaboration established in 2025 and reflected the ongoing partnership between IACA and Erste Group in strengthening integrity and compliance practices within the financial sector.
The programme was led by Drago Kos, IACA’s Interim Dean, who guided participants through key themes related to corruption and bribery, conflicts of interest, and relevant legal frameworks. The sessions also explored approaches to risk assessment, alongside practical aspects of compliance systems, including internal controls, ethics frameworks, and the role of governance structures in supporting organizational integrity.
The continued collaboration with Erste Group underscores IACA’s commitment to supporting private sector partners through tailored capacity-building initiatives that respond to evolving compliance challenges.
