The IACA Virtual School on Anti‑Corruption has become a global platform for strengthening integrity and accountability worldwide. Since the launch of the joint initiative in 2021, ten editions of the Virtual School have been successfully delivered, reaching young people and emerging leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Latin America.

The programme addresses key anti‑corruption challenges, including corruption prevention and enforcement, protection of whistleblowers, ethics, compliance, the impact of corruption on human rights, the role of civil society, and integrity in both the public and private sectors. By connecting these themes to practical examples, the programme fosters understanding of how corruption affects societies and what measures can be taken to address and prevent corrupt practices. Through expert‑led sessions and interactive discussions, participants gain theoretical foundations and practical tools to combat corruption.

The IACA-UNODC online school has attracted more than 1,500 applications, with around 400 participants selected from 73 countries, reflecting strong global demand and diversity. The programme has been offered in three different languages: English, Spanish, and French, enabling inclusive participation across regions. The partnership between IACA and UNODC demonstrates the importance of accessible, inclusive, and quality education in anti-corruption, preparing the next generation of integrity leaders.

By bringing together a truly international audience and a wide range of anti‑corruption topics, the IACA-UNODC Virtual School continues to play a vital role in promoting integrity, cooperation, and knowledge exchange worldwide.
