The Anti-Corruption Collective Action Certificate Programme (ACCA) officially launched its fourth cohort with a welcome session held on 28 April 2026, marking the beginning of a new cycle of collaborative learning and action. The ACCA 2026 cohort brings together 11 participants from nine countries—Colombia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mozambique, Nepal, Paraguay, Rwanda, South Africa, and Uganda - reflecting a rich diversity of professional backgrounds and regional perspectives.

The opening session provided an opportunity for participants to engage with the IACA community. Mr. Pawan Kumar Sinha, Director of Academic Programmes at IACA, and Ms. Petra Susac, Head of General Management, welcomed the participants. They emphasized that “at IACA, with its global, practice-oriented environment and strong focus on Collective Action, you are in the right place for your initiatives to grow, to be tested, and ultimately to be successfully implemented in the real world.”

Participants also had the opportunity to interact with IACA team and distinguished alumni from previous cohorts, who shared their experiences in the programme and offered practical advice on developing and implementing sustainable Collective Action initiatives. The ACCA 2026 participants also introduced themselves and presented their initial Collective Action proposals, highlighting a wide range of anti-corruption priorities across different regional contexts. These initiatives aim to achieve tangible results in the fight against corruption.

The cohort will now begin a four-month study phase, during which participants will gain practical knowledge, tools, and methodologies to design their Collective Action initiatives. This will be followed by an eight-month implementation phase, supported by expert guidance and targeted workshops to help bring their projects to fruition.
