From 30 April to 6 May 2026, the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) hosted a delegation from the Republic of Korea for a tailor-made training programme on anti-corruption and good governance. The programme was organized in close cooperation with the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of the Republic of Korea and brought together participants for an intensive exchange of international practices and experiences in corruption prevention and integrity-building.

Over the course of the programme, participants explored a broad range of topics related to anti-corruption and public integrity, including international efforts to curb corruption, anti-corruption compliance, ethical decision-making, corruption risk assessment in public procurement, and the role of anti-corruption agencies in the European Union. The programme also featured study visits to key Austrian institutions, including the Austrian Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK) and the Austrian Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Economic Crimes and Corruption (WKStA), offering participants valuable insights into Austria’s anti-corruption framework.

In the course of the programme, participants engaged in productive discussions and exchanged perspectives on current anti-corruption challenges and innovative approaches to strengthening transparency and accountability.
