On 17 August 2026, in a meeting held at the International Anti-Corruption Academy’s (IACA) campus in Laxenburg, Austria, H.E. Dr. Florence Fatima Ajimobi presented credentials as Permanent Representative of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to IACA.

IACA’s Dean, Mr. Drago Kos, congratulated Ambassador Ajimobi on her appointment and welcomed the opportunity for continuing the longstanding relationship between Nigeria and the Academy. The Dean also underlined the importance of regional cooperation in Africa on matters of anti-corruption and IACA’s commitment to serving its constituency in the region.

Discussion furthermore focused on strengthening cooperation with Nigerian institutions, building on IACA’s prior collaboration with Nigerian Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
