On 7 September 2026, at a meeting held at the campus of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Laxenburg, Austria, H.E. Mr. Harry Kurt Thomas Jürgensen Rundshagen presented his credentials as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Chile to IACA.

IACA’s Dean and Executive Secretary, Mr. Drago Kos, welcomed Ambassador Jürgensen Rundshagen and expressed appreciation for Chile’s longstanding engagement with the Academy.

The meeting focused on opportunities to further strengthen cooperation with relevant Chilean institutions in the areas of anti-corruption and transparency, through tailor-made training, technical assistance and joint research. Discussions also addressed opportunities to enhance the participation of Chilean professionals in IACA’s academic programmes, notably the Spanish-language Máster en Estudios Anticorrupción y Compliance, as well as the engagement of Chilean experts in the Academy’s activities and knowledge products.

Chile has been a long-standing partner of IACA since becoming a Party in 2013.
