The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) has opened applications for Blockchain and AI Demystified, a two-day practical training course that explores how emerging technologies work, what they can achieve, and how they can be used or misused in integrity-related work.
Taking place from 14 to 15 December 2026 at the IACA’s campus in Laxenburg, Austria, the training will cover blockchain applications in transparency, traceability and digital asset tracing, as well as the practical use of artificial intelligence (AI), data confidentiality, AI reliability and emerging technology-related risks.

Participants will explore topics including illicit financial flows, AI-assisted analysis, deepfakes, fabricated documents and the limitations of emerging technologies.
The training is intended for anti-corruption and integrity professionals seeking to strengthen their understanding of these technologies. No prior technical knowledge is required.
The training fee is EUR 650, and the language of instruction is English. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
