Campus
Location
IACA is located in the town of Laxenburg near Vienna, which served as a summer getaway for the aristocracy and high society during the times of the Habsburg dynasty. The IACA campus is set in Palais Kaunitz-Wittgenstein, which dates back to the 17th century and is rich with history, having served as a nobility residence and a prominent women’s educational facility. In 2010, it was renovated by the province of Lower Austria and transformed into a modern campus, with its ancient charm preserved.
About
Our campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, allowing the Academy to host a variety of conferences, seminars, and programmes. The Franz-Hermann Bruener Ceremonial Hall provides a venue for larger events.
Strolling around campus, students can soak in that imperial spirit of Laxenburg which continues to attract large numbers of visitors every year. In the summer, participants from around the world take part in the annual IACA Summer Academy, converting the campus and the picturesque town into a “global village” for anti-corruption and compliance professionals. The proximity to Vienna gives participants an opportunity to explore the more vibrant city life of Austria’s capital in addition to the relaxing small-town atmosphere of Laxenburg.
