The importance of and the need for partnerships in ensuring a more coordinated fight against corruption is well recognized by IACA and its Members.
The Academy seeks to create cooperative relationships with states, international organizations, public and private entities, business cooperations and associations, civil society and professional networks, among others, which can contribute to its work. Cooperative relationships may be established through Memoranda of Understanding, Letters of Intent, Activity Agreements, or other arrangements.
Moreover, in addition to voluntary contributions by Members, the Academy also seeks contributions from the private sector as well as other donors. These contributions serve to further IACA’s mandate, programmes and initiatives, and are accepted as long as they do not jeopardize the organization’s integrity, independence, impartiality, and transparency. Contributions can also be dedicated for the purpose of ensuring global participation, be it in the form of grants, scholarships, or other means. All contributions made to IACA are considered, to a certain extent, tax deductible operational expenditures by the law of the host country - Austria.
