IACA Included in OECD Annex 2 List of ODA
IACA was included in the OECD Annex 2 List of ODA (official development assistance) eligible international organizations, with a 100% coefficient for core contributions. All IACA activities are now considered as fully ODA-eligible by the OECD and its member countries.
Over 4,300 Practitioners Trained
As of 2021, the Academy has reached more than 4,300 anti-corruption practitioners, from 168 countries and jurisdictions, through training and capacity building, enabling sustainable impacts in their respective countries or regions and contributing to a cleaner business environment. Over a dozen of training and capacity development projects were implemented with various partners, including the Corruption Eradication Commission of Indonesia, New Development Bank, International Centre for Migration Policy Development, and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
Two New Master’s and Executive Diploma Launched
The first master’s programme of IACA in Spanish, the Master in Anti-Corruption and Compliance (MACC) with 90 credits, and a new master’s programme in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (MACD, 90 ECTS), developed jointly by IACA and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) were introduced. Moreover, the joint IACA-UNITAR Executive Diploma in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (EDACD), an in-career part-time programme spanning over 6 months, was launched.
Six New Self-Paced Courses Introduced
The courses on asset disclosure, conflicts of interest in the public sector, and on conflicts of interest management in the private sector promote a deeper understanding of the intricacies of corruption, allow participants to learn at their own schedule and pace, and make the content available to a wider audience as they are offered in different languages. The self-paced course “Fraud and Corruption Prevention in Public Procurement,” also launched in 2021, and is a joint initiative of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
Anti-Corruption Collective Action Impact Centre (ACAC) Launched
This unique initiative is designed to provide educational services, promote research, and foster the practical implementation of Collective Action initiatives. Through its flagship programme, the Anti-Corruption Collective Action Certificate (ACA), the Centre promotes the practical implementation of Collective Action based on a tailored methodology and close guidance.
Over 2700 New Platform Users
More than 2700 individual users registered at IACA‘s learning management platform to take online self-paced courses on various anti-corruption topics in different languages.
