Today, the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) has welcomed 73 anti-corruption and compliance professionals from 32 countries and jurisdictions to the 16th International Anti-Corruption Summer Academy (IACSA), The Summer Academy remains one of IACA’s most established and internationally recognized training programmes, providing a unique platform where professionals can learn from leading experts while building lasting professional connections across borders.
Held from 8 to 12 June 2026 at IACA’s historic campus in Laxenburg, Austria, the programme brings together participants from the public and private sectors, international organizations, academia, civil society, and the media for an intensive learning and networking experience focused on advancing integrity and strengthening anti-corruption efforts worldwide.
This year’s Summer Academy has been made more accessible through the generous support of the Siemens Integrity Initiative – Evolve Funding Round. The initiative has enabled IACA to significantly reduce the programme fee for all participants and to award full scholarships to selected professionals from around the world, helping to broaden participation and enhance the diversity of perspectives represented in the programme.
Building on IACA’s tradition of bridging theory and practice, the 2026 Summer Academy offers an interdisciplinary curriculum addressing key trends and challenges on the global anti-corruption agenda. Throughout the week, participants will engage with leading international experts on topics such as global corruption patterns and organized crime, corruption and economic development, anti-corruption strategies, open-source intelligence (OSINT), investigative methodologies, ethical leadership and organizational integrity, compliance frameworks, collective action, and the use of artificial intelligence in preventing and detecting corruption.
The programme combines expert lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and peer-to-peer exchanges, creating a unique environment for participants to deepen their knowledge, share experiences, and develop practical solutions to complex integrity challenges.
Welcoming participants at the opening ceremony, Mr. Drago Kos, Interim Dean of IACA, emphasized the importance of international cooperation, cross-sectoral dialogue, and knowledge-sharing in addressing corruption, highlighting the value of bringing together professionals from diverse sectors, disciplines, and regions of the world.
Upon completion of the programme, participants will join IACA’s global alumni network of more than 7,000 anti-corruption and compliance professionals from around 170 countries and jurisdictions. This growing community fosters continued professional exchange, collaboration, and collective action in support of more transparent, accountable, and ethical societies worldwide.
